The Millennium Green Trustees were out in force on Saturday, 19th November to give local children the opportunity to make bird boxes and feeders.

This non-profit making event was very well attended with 25 children turning up to try out their woodworking skills.  Many brave Mums and Dads held their fingers dangerously close to hammers being wielded by their offspring but we are happy to report that there were no injuries sustained.

A total of 19 bird boxes and 21 feeders were produced after much sawing, drilling, hammering and stapling - the bird population of Clifton Campville and surrounds will be both well fed and have beautiful new homes this winter.
